How the ranking works
- Combined follows = X followers + Instagram followers. These are follows, not unique people: one fan who follows on both platforms counts twice.
- Only tracked creators. The list covers the creators we track. It is not a complete census of the industry.
- Verified counts only. A creator without a verified Instagram count gets no combined rank. Missing numbers are never estimated.
- Dated sources. X counts come from the X API and refresh daily; Instagram counts (Muse research) carry their own check dates and may be older.
- Official accounts only. Fan or alternate accounts are not counted.
